Natural Balance Acupuncture Clinic was founded in 2003 by Aifei Wang, L.Ac.,M.Ac., a National Board Certified Acupuncturist. Ms. Wang received her Master's degree in Acupuncture from the New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NYCTCM), and is licensed to practice in Maryland and Virginia.

Ms. Wang's philosophy in treatment is centered around balancing Eastern and Western notions of medicine. With decades of experience in both kinds of medicine, she seeks to integrate the two in her own practice. To Ms. Wang, there is no need to choose between Eastern and Western medicines. Instead, the two medical traditions are best when used to complement and support each other.

She immigrated to the United States in 1989 from the People's Republic of China. In China, she was a medical doctor using Western medicine as well as acupuncture in her practice.
